Hot Air Balloons

Here are some images from this morning's first-ever Cinco De Mayo Hot Air Balloon Festival. The Douglas Dispatch calls it the Cinco De Mayo Air Balloon Festival, but that's sadly typical of the Dispatch. The wind has picked up since I took these--if it's anything like yesterday, the morning flights will be all they'll manage.

This always makes me want to ride in a hot air balloon, but I never know where to go or how to find out how to ride one. Is there a contest or is it just a festival full of hot air? Either way, it looks like fun!
